Ceiling Track Lifts

One of the services Petersen Ergonomics offers is the sale and custom installation of patient lifting and transfer systems. These lifts can be installed in most locations, including schools, homes, or special care facilities. Our trained staff will come to your location and assess which lift system is best suited to your needs, survey the structure of your building and custom design the track and support.

 

Ceiling track lifts are designed to provide a safe and comfortable client transfer while protecting the care giver against strain related injuries. A ceiling track system consists of a power unit with lifting and lowering functions, manual or power traverse, an energy source, a ceiling track system, and a sling to carry the client. The power unit is permanently mounted to the track for use is limited to one set of tracks. Alternatively the power unit can be portable, to be used at different locations.

Compact V3 Portable Lift

The V3 lift is compact in size, weighing only 14 lbs / 6.5 kg, making it a breeze to move from room to room. The lifting capacity is 440 lbs / 200 kg. The wide sling hooks and soft start allow for more comfortable transfers for the patient. With the ergonomically designed hand control and convenient plug in recharging system, the V3 lift is easy to use.

V4 Permanent Lift

This permanent unit utilizes the latest technology in lifts. The V4 has a lifting capacity of 440 lbs / 200 kg. The ergonomically designed hand control provides 2 or 4 way functions, along with “return to charge” control for automatic battery recharging. The unit is powered along the track and fully programmable for travel speeds, recharging position and lifting bar position during charging. Both powered and manual emergency down controls are provided. This lift system is available with unique lift powered turntables and track exchangers for added versatility.

Voyager Portable

This lift weighs only 12 lbs / 5.4 kg and is designed to be carried from one room to another. This portable unit has a lifting capacity of 440 lbs / 200 kg and offers convenient handset controls plus controls on the lift. The patented quick release on the strap gives an easy extension and makes hooking onto the track simple. The batteries charge in just 2 hour and pop out for quick replacement with a fully charged unit. Manual emergency lowering is built in to the unit.
Easytrack System – The Non Permanent Track Solution
When you can not use a ceiling track installation, the Easytrack system is there giving you the same security as a permanent installation. Variations include a 2, 3, or 4 post system. Having a lifting capacity of 440 Lbs / 200 kg., the lift can be installed quickly and easily without connecting to the ceiling. It simply extends and locks between the floor and ceiling. Simply mount a V3 lift and enjoy all the features and security of a permanent installation. The Easytrack can only be used in rooms with a permanent. Ceiling height restrictions may apply.
